Here2MakeUHappy

Skinny's latest album, a collection of toe tappin' grooves from the famed saxophonist and all star rhythm section is a praiseworthy successor to William's last traditional jazz album and audience favorite, Skinny Swings Again.
The recording, showcases Skinny Williams production skills, imperious tone, and poetic phrasings on eleven newly recorded compositions accompanied by some of the greatest musicians of smooth jazz and rhythm and blues.
When he blows, you can't help but listen.

Skinny Swings

This recording was inspired by five guys that performed regularly at a nightclub in Chicago. Their performances were so inspirational and so well appreciated they recorded the crowds most requested songs. Led by saxophonist Skinny Williams, whose playing on this recording is reminiscent of Sam Butera of Louis Prima's band and suggestive of the late King Curtis, this Cd is a mixture of jump swing songs the crowd loved to dance to,with a few standards thrown in for good measure. Great solos from the whole band . Energetic!
